Addi Somekh

If you missed Addi Somekh last night at Burbank Central’s Family Night, you still have a chance to see this fun and unusual show at our Buena Vista branch next Wednesday night, September 20th, at 7:00 p.m. Children loved this program! Addi has taken balloon art to the next level. You haven’t seen anyone make creations with balloons like this before. His extemporaneous art is as exuberant and instantly engaging as Addi himself. It has been his calling card on visits to many exotic locations around the world. You will see pictures of tribesmen in Africa sporting his hats, balloon necklaces on steppe camels, young smiling children in Asia crowned in blooming colors, a trucker in Texas wearing balloons that look like the smoke stacks coming out of his truck, and a group of firemen who have replaced their hardhats with Addi’s crazy confections. Every child left with one of our new Burbank Public Library balloons, and not a few with some pretty outrageous hats.
