All (Well, At Least Some) About Burbank.

A bit curious about how Burbank came to be and what is our history? The library owns a few titles for your reading pleasure about the history of Burbank.

The most recent and most widely available books are: A History of Burbank: A special place in history by Mary Jane Strickland and Burbank, an illustrated history by E. Caswell Perry. These two books are available at all three Burbank libraries.

Another good place to learn about Burbank is the Burbank Historical Society and the Gordon R. Howard museum located at 115 Lomita Street, between Clark and West Olive, in George Izay Park. The museum is open Saturdays and Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or By Reservation, for Groups of 10 or More Telephone: (818) 841-6333 or email ghowardmuseum@earthlink.net
