Early Voting

Can't wait to fulfill your civic duty? There are a number of Touchscreen Early Voting Sites around Los Angeles County, which will operate through November 3rd. Sadly, there are no locations in Burbank and you'll use up a little gasoline in the process, but it might be worth it to you if you happen to be in the area.

The closest location:

Daily 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Tied for second, about 12 miles from the Burbank Central Library in all directions:

Downtown Central Library
630 W 5th Street, Los Angeles - Meeting Room A
(Parking validated for voters)
Monday - Thursday: 11 AM - 7 PM
Friday - Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM
Sunday: 1 PM - 4:30 PM

Mid-Valley Library
16244 Nordhoff Street, North Hills - Community Room

I read California has early voting but it's really hard finding any information about it.
I just tried calling the Braille Institute and they do not have early voting. All I got was confusion from two different people - "Are you a student?"

Jordan314, I believe that the confusion is due to the age of the posted information on the blog post. It is from 2006 and would have been relevant for that particular election. You may want to visit http://www.lavote.net/ or contact the Los Angeles County
Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office at 12400 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY
NORWALK, CA 90650, telephone: 1-800-815-2666 for current information for Tuesday, November 2, 2010's election.
