Genetic Genealogy

If you're willing to drive a little ways (okay, a long ways), there is a very interesting presentation coming up for those researching their family history. Doug Miller, the former president of the Southern California Genealogical Society, will be giving a lecture called "Genetic Genealogy - The Use of DNA Testing in Family Research". This event is open to the public.

What is DNA Testing and how might it provide evidence about your ancestors? Check these links before you go: DNA Testing: In Our Blood (Newsweek), DNA Heritage Tutorial, Genetic Genealogy (Wikipedia)
