Tuesday is Election Day. Burbank Public Library still has Easy Voter Guides for new readers and busy voters !

Frustrated with all the ads for or against a certain Proposition ? Tired of negative ads and sound bytes ?

Join the
Fantasy Congress League. Now you, too, can "play politics." You - the Citizen - can draft a team of real-life legislators from the U.S. Congress and score points for your team's successes. Join a league or form a league of your own! Play against your friends, family, fellow travelers; or, perhaps, a sitting U.S. Senator or Congressman.

As the Members of Congress you drafted put real legislation through the lawmaking process they will score points for your team.

At the end of the season, the Citizen with the most points wins. To accrue the highest number of points, use your political savvy to decide which MCs should be playing and when they should be benched

To form your team, you choose a group of 16 legislators:

2 senior Senators - "Upper Senators"
2 junior Senators - "Lower Senators"
4 senior Representatives - "All-Stars"
4 mid-range experience Representatives - "Supporting Lineup"
4 junior Representatives - "Rookies"

FYI: there is also a Fantasy Supreme Court League.
Today's public figures can no longer write their own speeches or books, and there is some evidence that they can't read them either.
