Opera in Burbank Theater

You can still make it. The Live in High-Definition, an operatic broadcasting via satellite on the big screen in theaters across the country by The Metropolitan Opera in Lincoln Center, New York, has remaining four operas till April 28, 2007.
AMC Burbank 16 at 125 E. Palm Ave is the chosen location in our town to see these "Live Operas". Renee Fleming takes the leading role of Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin on February 24th. The First Emperor features Placido Domingo; Juan Diego Florez, called "the best Rossini tenor in the entire opera history", attacks Il Barbiere di Siviglia. And if you have heard the aria O Mio Babbino Caro before, (who has not?) but do not know where this amazingly sweet soprano aria came from, do watch Giacomo Puccini's Il Trittico coming to big screen.
Tickets can be purchased online at Fathom. If you don't have Internet access, call AMC Burbank 16 at (818)-953-4020 for more information.
