Walk Your Dog for Burbank READS!

Have you heard about Burbank READS yet?? This is the Library's campaign to encourage everyone in Burbank to read the same book at the same time, then come together to discuss it and enjoy theme-related programs. For our first title we have chosen Marley and Me by John Grogran. Marley and Me is a laugh out loud book about the antics of the "world's worst dog" who manages to worm his way into the hearts of the Grogan family.

The program kicks off this Saturday, February 17 at Keystone and Chandler from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with a dog walk. The weather should be beautiful tomorrow, so come join us as we stroll down the Chandler Bikeway to help promote the Burbank READS events. Along the way you'll have fun meeting and talking with your neighbors. This is a great family event and dogs are welcome!!

Don't forget - if you haven't had a chance yet to read Marley and Me, there are lots of copies of the book available at the library.

For more information, log on to the library's website at www.burbanklibrary.com and check out our public service announcement on YouTube!
