Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 40th Anniversary.

It was twenty years ago today Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play...so begins one of the most revered and honored Rock & Roll albums of all time, The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band [owned, of course, by your local library], which redefined The Beatles and rock music with it's sound, style and inventiveness. To honor the 4oth anniversary of the album's release, please visit the new Sgt. Pepper's section http://www.thebeatles.com/sgtpepper/ of The Beatles website. I am looking forward to exploring this site myself and have my CD handy for a listen or two. For a good read about the album try Rolling Stone magazine's online write-up about Sgt. Pepper's, which is listed at #1, on their 2003 "top 500" albums of all-time article, conveniently found here http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/6595610/1_sgt_peppers_lonely_hearts_club_band.
