It's the end of the year, and it's time to reflect on the best books of 2007. Several of our staff members have made their selections - feel free to tell us your favorite book published in 2007 by clicking on the comments link below. Of all the many books published this year, this one got two votes from our staff. Read on to find out why!

Louise: There are so many books I enjoyed, but I would have to say that Interred with Their Bones by Jennifer Lee Carrell would be my top favorite of the year. The fact that this thriller has a mystery of history as its basis and contains enough plot twists to keep you guessing is a major plus.

Patrice: My favorite book published this year is the thriller, Interred with Their Bones by Jennifer Lee Carrell. It's a literary mystery involving the authorship of Shakespeare's plays and occult Shakespeare and has everything mystery lovers are looking for. It's well written, fast paced with plenty of plot twists and globe trotting, and it has a great ending. It's also the first book in a series, so we'll have more books with the main character and the subject of occult Shakespeare to look forward to.
