Dashing Through the Snow by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark

Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter, Carol, have written Deck the Halls, The Christmas Thief, Santa Cruise, and Dashing through the snow, where they include another series detective, Regan Reilly.

The story is an enjoyable holiday escapade set in the quaint town of Branscombe, New Hampshire at Christmastime. The trouble begins when four employees of Conklins Market win the lottery for a staggering $160 million dollars using their fellow worker Duncan's bonus number. They intend to share their winnings with Duncan who was advised against participating by a couple of swindlers acting as financial advisers. Duncan has vanished the night of the winning and in the meantime another winning lottery ticket was purchased in the next town. Could he be the winner of that ticket?

PI Regan Reilly and her NYPD husband Jack, suspense writer Nora Reilly and funeral director husband Luke, and lottery winner-turned-sleuth Alvirah Meehan and her husband Willy are in town for Branscombe's first Festival of Joy. They are determined to solve the mystery.
