National Library of China & WorldCat

WorldCat is a wonderful resource for searching library catalogs around the world. The open source website offers free access to more than 1.5 billion items, including books, dvds, cds, and journal articles. WorldCat is maintained by OCLC, Online Computer Library Center, Inc., an organization based in Dublin, Ohio. OCLC announced on May 27, 2010 that The National Library of China will share its rich collections with libraries and researchers around the world as a new participant in the OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing service. WorldCat is currently searchable in six languages: English, Deutsch, Espanol, Francais, Nederlands and Chinese.
