President's Day reading ideas.

Need a good idea about how best to celebrate the President's Day holiday?

Many wonderful books are yours for the reading including:

Lots of reading suggestions can be found on our online booklist "Don't Know Much About Presidents"

For those readers looking for a brief biography try any of the titles from "The American Presidents Series". Many of the titles are written by noted Historians and other authors recognizable from the Best Seller lists.

Currently in the New Books section are some new Presidential reading temptations:

Ronald Reagan, 100 years , The president's photographer : fifty years inside the Oval Office , Jimmy Carter , Decision points [George W. Bush] , Colonel Roosevelt [Theodore Roosevelt] ,Going home to glory : a memoir of life with Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1961-1969 , Scorpions : the battles and triumphs of FDR's great Supreme Court justices [Franklin D. Roosevelt] , Inventing George Washington : America's founder, in myth and memory and a whole bunch more.

My personal choice for the book I'd most want to read is the Colonel Roosevelt title [Old Teddy is a fascinating man...I need some time to read!
