Do you know about our Wiki???

That's right, there's Wikipedia, and then there is the Burbank Public Library's Ask Wiki! The definition of a wiki is:
A website developed collaboratively by a community of users, allowing users to add and edit content.
In the case of our Wiki, it is developed by our librarians (one reference librarian in particular, pseudonym NotMarion) for our patrons. On it you can find such information as:

Books and reading: Book lists, E-books, what to read next...
Local: Burbank events, Burbank history, classes and education, jobs and careers...
Consumer information: Business, internet, travel...
Kid Stuff: Books and reading, fun and games, homework help...
Student Stuff: Free e-book classics, flash cards, free online college courses...
Law and government: City, county, state, federal, voting, immigration...
Fast Facts: Dictionaries, calculators, maps, statistics...
And a whole bunch of other information, searchable by subject.

So bookmark Ask Wiki and remember to check there when you need a reputable source of information! Just one of the 100+ things you can do at your library!
