This week for teens...and everyone else!

Please join us this Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Library for our encore readers' theater performance of The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde, starring Burbank teens! It's not strictly an encore performance, though, for we have mixed things up by recasting all roles--Lady Bracknell is now "little" Cecily, the butler is Gwendolen, Miss Prism is the redoubtable Lady Bracknell...it's as if it's a whole new show! So if you saw it the first time at Buena Vista, please come again, and if you MISSED it the first time, here's your chance to remedy your error! It is very important that you find out why being earnest is so desirable!

Please be prompt so as not to interrupt the performance with your late entrance. Since there are two summer reading programs at the Central Library the same night (the children's program taking place outdoors on the lawn), please take advantage of parking across the street on the opposite corner of Glenoaks and Olive in the employee lot after 6:00 p.m.

This is a Teen Summer Reading program, but all are welcome to attend. Teens who are registered for the program will be included in a drawing for scrumptious prizes. Not yet registered? Go here and do so at once! (No commitment is implied by registration, but you DO become eligible to win prizes at all programs! Definitely worth a couple of minutes of your time!)
