Learn To Read Program Volunteer Tutor Information

You can help adults (age 18 or older) who speak English but who read at or below 8th grade level, to improve their reading, writing and spelling skills. Additionally, our "Ready to Read" program helps children in 4th-12th grades to improve phonic, common word and fluency skills. It's a great opportunity for adults or for high school students who need to complete volunteer hours. No experience is necessary. Register for the January 2014 workshop and change someone's life!

In addition to attending this introductory session, you must also attend the two Saturday workshops on January 25 (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and February 8 (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM). For more information call 818-238-5577.
