THE EVIL HOURS
Please join us as author David J. Morris discusses his memoir, The Evil Hours: A Biography of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Mr. Morris draws on his own battles with post-traumatic stress, as a former Marine infantry officer and reporter in Iraq, and explains the disease from a personal perspective. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and author signing, and refreshments will be served.

For students whose teachers have offered extra credit for attending this program, the library will make available proof of attendance slips at the end of the program.

Young Adult Services invites TEENS to celebrate Chinese New Year at a CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING Workshop! Join children's book author and illustrator Deborah Nourse Lattimore, and learn to make beautiful art using brush and ink! All supplies are provided. You must sign up by email: melliott@burbankca.gov. This workshop is for teens in grades 6 - 12.
