THE SALT OF THE EARTH

An Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary, The Salt of the Earth follows the life and work of famous Brazilian photographer Sebastian Salagado, who spent 40 years documenting deprived societies in hidden corners of the world. He then moved away from social photography and focused on the environment, embarking on the discovery of pristine territories, of wild fauna and flora, and of grandiose landscapes as part of a huge photographic project, which is a tribute to the planet's beauty.
