with JOHN COREY WHALEY!

Printz Award-winner John Corey Whaley has a new book! He will share the details of Highly Illogical Behavior with teens at BOOK CAFÉ (book-talking and coffee house treats). Books will be available for purchase, and Corey will autograph.

He will also present the prizes to our top writers in the October POV Writing Challenge at this event, which is for teens in grades 6-12 ONLY.

DOCUMENTARY: SING YOUR OWN SONG
An Opera Love Story

Sing Your Own Song: An Opera Love Story was produced and directed by Burbank resident Anne Davis O'Neal. It was shown on PBS in July. The documentary will be followed by a Q&A session with Ms. O'Neal, and we might even be surprised by some live music by some of the singers featured in the documentary!
